My recent artwork explores the domestic realities of motherhood and the evolving relationships with my two sons as they approach adolescence. Building on my previous exhibition Yield, this personal, small-scale work focuses on the fleeting, everyday rituals of family life—from physical closeness to growing independence. By transforming memories, photographs, and observations into paintings that balance figuration and abstraction, I capture emotional states and subtle shifts in connection that are often overlooked.
